Sable on the desk PC, as an app.
The same Sable you use in the browser, installed on the computer at the desk: its own icon, its own window, and a tap on the shoulder when a booking needs you. Windows now; Mac is coming.
Free. Signs in with your usual Sable business login. A 2 MB download. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Version 0.1.1, 14 October 2026. Early build, not yet signed. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" the first time: choose More info, then Run anyway. If your PC has Smart App Control turned on, Windows blocks unsigned apps outright and there is no Run anyway — use the browser version above instead; it is the same Sable, and a signed build will follow.What it adds
An icon on the desktop and the taskbar. A window that remembers its size. It keeps running in the corner when you close it, so a new request or a payment still reaches you as a notification. Closing hides it; Quit is in the tray icon's menu.
What stays the same
It is the live Sable, not a copy: the diary, bookings, clients, pets and Ask Sable, exactly as in the browser, with the same login. There is nothing to update; when Sable changes, the app on your desk changes with it.
Mac
Coming. Until then Sable works in Safari or Chrome at app.sable.vet, and on your phone through the Sable Business app.
